Gardens on School Property

The purpose of this policy is to establish how and when school premises may be used for gardening by the school programs and others.

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the definitions for words or terms used in Policy 7000 and its attendant regulations.

R 7000 B

Application and Approval Process

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the procedure for making an application to create a garden on school property, and to describe the approval process the District will use to rule on garden applications.

Environmental Health and Safety

The purpose of the policy is to provide a safe and healthy learning and work environment; to increase safety awareness, to help prevent accidents and injuries; to reduce risk of liability; and to comply with all health and safety, environmental and occupational health laws, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities: Environmental Health & Safety

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the responsibility for implementation of the District’s Environmental Health and Safety Programs.

Radio Frequency Safety

The purpose of the regulation is to establish the district plan to conform with Federal Communications Commission requirements for radio frequency emissions on district premises, establishes a temporary moratorium on new cell phone antennae installations, and provides for annual notice to parents regarding RF Emissions.
