The purpose of this regulation is to establish the rules and procedures for classroom, student, school or district participation in contests sponsored by non-district sources.

The purpose of this policy is to establish the occasions for celebration of graduation from the Minneapolis Public Schools and receipt of honors and awards.

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the criteria for participation in the graduation ceremonies, but does not confer rights to receive a diploma unless and until the requirements for graduation are met.

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the rules for satisfying graduation requirements and qualification for a diploma for a student who transfers from a school outside of the District during the student’s high school years.

The purpose of this regulation is to guide special issuance of diplomas posthumously or in case of terminal illness of a student.
