Recent Changes to Policies made by Board Action

At its March 26, 2013 Regular meeting, the Board of Directors revised Policy 5182 and renamed it Dropping from Enrollment (formerly named Nonattendance). The Superintendent has promulgated Regulation 5182 A (Dropping and Reporting Procedures). The update includes responsibility for attempting to determine the reason that a student has been absent for extended periods before dropping them from enrollment, as is required by Minnesota law after fifteen days of continuous unexcused absence.
