The purpose of this regulation is to establish how tuition rates for Minneapolis Public School non-school day programs shall be determined.

Establishes that the Board of Education is responsible for providing learning materials and basic instructional supplies, and that students are responsible for providing their own expendable and personal supplies.

The purpose of this policy is to establish how and when  materials, equipment and supplies shall be declared obsolete or excess and their disposition managed to conform to requirements for the use of publicly funded items.

The purpose of this regulation is to give directions for the disposition of obsolete and excess materials.

The purpose of this policy is to establish the rules and procedures to be followed in the event that the Board approves a sale or lease of District real property.

Definitions and Proceeds: Sales and Leases of Real Property

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the definitions for terms used in Policy 3270 – Sales and Leases of Real Property, and the disposition of the proceeds of sales or leases made pursuant to that policy.

Gifts, Bequests and Grants

The purpose of this policy is to establish the circumstances under which the District may accept offers of gifts, bequests and unsolicited grants.

Accepting Gifts, Bequests or Grants

This regulation establishes the criteria for acceptable gifts, bequests or unsolicited grants, the appropriate recipient of gifts of varying value and the procedures required for acceptance.

Debt: Purposes and Limitations

The purpose of this policy is to establish under what circumstances debt may be incurred, the type of debt that is appropriate for specific purposes, the appropriate debt load of the district, the repayment schedule for debt and how the Board will respond to emergency financial circumstances.
