Conflicts of Interest and Fiduciary Duty

The purpose of this policy is to establish ethical standards of conduct for all such officials and employees by setting forth those acts or actions that are incompatible with the best interest of the Minneapolis Public Schools and by directing disclosure by such officials and employees of private financial or other interests in matters affecting the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Gifts to District Personnel

The purpose of this policy is to establish ethical standards of conduct for all district personnel regarding gifts from individuals, organizations or businesses, and to avoid the appearance of impropriety or conflict of interest on the part of district personnel.

. The purpose of this policy is to balance public and private individual employee rights in favor of the public purpose of the district.

Nepotism

The purpose of this policy is to establish the district's anti-nepotism policy.

R 3003 A

Definitions: Nepotism

The purpose of this regulation is to establish definitions for terms used in the nepotism policy of Minneapolis Public Schools.

R 3003 B

Procedures: Nepotism

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the procedures for requesting exceptions to the nepotism policy, reporting suspected breaches of the policy and the responsibility of the administration to respond to applications and reports.

Employee Use of District Property

The purpose of this policy is to establish when employees may use equipment or material owned by the district.
