The purpose of this regulation is to establish the rules and procedures for attendance of students, acceptable excused absences are established along with necessary notice requirements.

The purpose of this regulation is to establish minimum standards of attendance, and to identify appropriate interventions for those students whose attendance does not meet expectations.

The purpose of this policy is to establish at what age a student is eligible to receive educational services.

It is the purpose of this regulation to set forth the application and exclusion procedures used by the school district in making enrollment option program determinations.

Admission of Students from State Correctional Institutions or Other Agencies

This policy requires the pre-enrollment planning for a student whose last enrollment was in a state correctional facility or similar agency.

Establishes the age to which students have the right to attend school.

The purpose of this policy is to establish when applications for exemption from compulsory instruction must or may be made, how they are made and the procedural rights of parents, students and the District when applications have been made.

. The purpose of this regulation is to establish the processes for assessing exemption applications, district responses to student needs, and creation of recommendations on applications.

Dropping from Enrollment

The purpose of this policy is to establish when the District may drop a student from enrollment due to the student’s attendance records, and what action the District shall take to enforce the compulsory instruction laws of the State of Minnesota.

Dropping and Reporting Procedures

The purpose of this regulation is to establish the drop from enrollment and reporting procedures for students who are dropped from enrollment from the District due to lack of attendance.
